Born and raised in east Pubnico, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, allison discovered his passion for Theatre on a Grade 11 class trip to see the Merchant Of Venice, directed by Patrick Christopher at Dalhousie University. That sparked a four year Theatre degree at Dal, as well as diving head first into Foghorn Theatre as Director, actor, Producer, Designer, and member of the Board of Directors. In recent years, allison has tried to move away from acting and become more involved with playwriting. His first adaptation was "Much Too Munch", a series of one act plays based on the children's stores of Robert Munch and premiered at the Killiam Waterfront Theatre in Yarmouth, Nova ScotiA. His first original play was "a Bar Scene" a one-act that premiered in the 2007 Halifax Fringe Festival. all of his plays are available directly through his e-mail address and all of them are rights free.

Synopsis:
a Dark Side To Valor follows the life of a young Canadian boy as he struggles between the decision to go off and fight in WWII or stay home to marry his sweetheart. the story cuts back and forth between his career in the air Force and his home life before the war. although we know what he chooses to do in the end, the devil is most certainly in the details.

Happy Freakin' Holidays

Synopsis:
This is the middle play in the Tom & Mark "Friends, Family, Lover's" Trilogy. Where "Wingman" explored friendship and "a Bar Scene" explored love, "Happy Freakin' Holidays" explores the idea of family. Tom convinces Mark to come home with him for a family Christmas, only to discover that everyone but his sister has spontaneously left for Florida! To make matters worse, as Tom tries his best to cobble together a "decent" Christmas holiday Mark and Tom's sister start to form a romantic relationship behind his back!

Synopsis:

Suit Yourself

Synopsis:

Wingman

Synopsis:
"Wingman" is the prequel to a. a. amirault's "a Bar Scene". Tom and Mark return as two guys looking for the right woman to come their way but when they both realize that they are getting nowhere they have to improvise. the result is a roaringly funny gimmick that could solve all of their problems or it could just make things worse and destroy their friendship.
