        Rossetti

Rossetti

Synopsis:
Rossetti is a Gothic romance about the poet and painter Dante Gabriel Rosetti. It is a story of love, obsession and friendship set amidst the commonplace of dirt, disease, drugs and death in a mid-Victorian World. As Red Lion Mary would have it, "Art 'midst dirt flourished". Powerful characters create their own world and share a heightened emotional existence. Rossetti is a play of one man's obsessive love for two women-one living and the other dead.
