Beached

Beached
Arty is 18 and 63 stone and lives with him mother Jojo. Jojo is proud of her boy and attends to his every need, including his enormous appetite for food. When a television documentary crew arrives to film the run-up to a gastric band operation, their arrival triggers change. Arty begins to contemplate a new life as well as realizing that he is experiencing love for the very first time. Unapologetically satiric, Beached is also the moving story of a man imprisoned in his own body. It lays bare the mercenary nature of reality TV, and turns the microscope on society's insatiable appetite for human misery.
