Zane A. Coleman was an award-winning African-American playwright and poet. His plays have been produced at Karamu House, Cleveland Public Theater, East Cleveland Theater, Cuyahoga Community College and at the Roxbury Center of the Arts in Boston. For his poetry, Zane won an Ohio Arts Council award and grant. He studied playwriting at The Cleveland Play House and at Karamu.

Synopsis:
The Three Graces is an African-American adaptation of Chekhovs The Three Sisters, set in a segregated army base in the South during the Second World War that celebrates the three graces of every woman of color: Brilliance, Joy and Flowering.
