Synopsis:
about a trio of foreign teachers who attend a party at a Japanese lodge hosted by a mysterious Geisha who speaks only in Haiku. Sake flows, secrets are revealed, and hearts are opened in an evening that weaves together five interconnected tales of sexual mishaps, romance, and cross-cultural miscommunication. The play blends traditional Japanese Noh theatre with contemporary American drama. It's inspired in part by the playwright's own experiences as a teacher in Japan.
