Child Soldier         First, Do No Harm         Singles Night at Safeway         Unveiled

Child Soldier

Synopsis:
Child Soldie tells the story of Destiny, a former female child soldier from Liberia, who survived forced cannibalism, mass murder, and sex slavery of the Liberian civil wars to come to the United States as an undocumented refugee. She strives for an education while navigating the unfamiliar battlefield of an inner-city high school. Unexpectedly, she encounters General Machete Mouth, her former rebel commander, now a pimp, and in the United States under suspicious circumstances. Machete Mouth offers to help Destiny obtain a green card and social security number in exchange for her services as a prostitute. Mustering everything she learned about persistence as a child soldier, Destiny's quest for survival explodes when she discovers General Machete Mouth's connection to conflict diamonds and 9/11.
