Joys And Blessings

Synopsis:
Ida--loud, profane, ignorant, tasteless--has, nevertheless, devoted her life to caring for her beautiful daughter, Luise. Luise is not quite one hundred percent and she has an illegitimate daughter, Christie. the family has no money and no prospects, so Ida must sell her movie memorabilia to pay for miracle shots that did nothing for Luise. Peter, her weak, charming husband, took a walk years ago but still visits. Mr. arkadian, the shy antique collector from the Yellow Pages is unprepared for the turbulent atmosphere he finds himself in. But eventually he brings understanding and even the possibility of help to the beleaguered family.

Little Rat Riding Hood

Synopsis:
Little Rat is the adopted niece of a mouse family living in the basement of a shopping mall and her family worries that she will be discovered by the noxious owner of the pet store upstairs for she is a rare breed. Busby, a hungry and larcenous cat lurks about when Litle Rat goes to her grandmother's but does not reckon on the heroism of the mice or the resourcefulness of a helpful, elderly cat.

Nuremberg Stove, The

Synopsis:
Based on the story by Ouida, this is about an impoverished Father and his daughters who have only one proud possession, an antique stove. Tina, the stove's self-appointed guardian, feeds, hugs, talks to "him." the desperate Father sells the stove to the queen, Tina stows away inside it and, when the time comes, makes an impassioned appeal to that lady. an appropriate compromise is finally reached.

Synopsis:
This is an audience-involved adaptation of the classic. the court fool cannot get his magic act together, Queen Grunion is in financial straits, Prince Glorious is ordered to give up his adored arabElla to find a rich wife. In desperation, arabElla boasts that she can spin straw into gold and she is taken at her word. the villainous dwarf appears, spins the gold and demands the royal first-born in payment. When Rumplestiltskin shows up to claim his prize, the fool has perfected his act and outwits him.

Synopsis:
this is a meloDrama of the old west and the saga of Widow Wellbred and her daughter, Nellie. they cannot make ends meet because long-gone Sam Welibred did not mine enough gold to fill a prairie dog's tooth. the Wellbreds are trapped in lawless Triggertown, with Marvin McRancid, the town banker hounding Nellie while Nellie vows to wait for Mr. Right. He does and they do.

Too Many Doctors

Synopsis:
Based on "the Imaginary Invalid" by Moliere. Hypochondriac argan wants a live-in doctor and chooses a nit-wit and promises him his daughter, angelique. the girl's suitor is thwarted again and again by argan but finally Toinette, the clever servant, comes to the rescue by impersonating a brilliant new doctor for argan.
