Tony DiMurro was born and raised in Jersey City and is a graduate of New York University. His first play, the one-act Moe Green Gets It In the eye, was produced Off-Broadway by the Rapp Arts Center in 1992. His first full-length play, the Coyote Bleeds, was produced Off-Broadway by the Worth St. Theater in November of 1995 and ran to critical acclaim until April 1996. His third New York production, a full-length version of Moe Green Gets It In the eye,was produced by LaTea Theater in 1998 and will receive its West Coast premiere this fall in Los Angeles. He has written several screenplays for David Sonenberg's DaSFilms. His latest full-length play,Waiting For My Man, was recently produced Off-Broadway by CaP 21 at the DR2. He is currently finishing up a new play titled Minnesota Fats Is Right around the Corner.

Coyote Bleeds, The

Synopsis:
Veteran detective Hunt Moore must solve the brutal murder of a young woman while at the same time breaking in a new partner. When the investigation seems to go horribly awry, Moore tries to convince his new partner "to stick to their story," and then keeps his superior officer and long-time friend Colm McShane an arm's length away. as his unorthodox and possibly illegal practices come to light, Moore struggles to escape responsibility for his actions, ultimately revealing himself as a man out of time.
