Paul Dodgson is a writer, composer, radio producer and teacher. Theatre work includes music and lyrics for productions of HEIDI, THE FRENCH DETECTIVE AND THE BLUE DOG and THE NUTCRACKER at Theatre Royal Bath, ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS at Tobacco Factory, Bristol, JOKING APART at Nottingham Playhouse, THE KINGDOM at Soho Theatre, London and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST at Salisbury Playhouse. Plays currently in production are BLUEBEARD at Soho Theatre, London and THE NUTCRACKER at Nuffield, Southampton. Writing credits include 12 plays for BBC Radio 4 including FAMOUS, BINGE DRUNK BRITAIN - THE MUSICAL and WINDSCALE. Paul's latest radio play, YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY, was transmitted on Radio 4 last year. Paul has directed and produced more than 400 programmes for all BBC radio networks. Screenwriting credits include 18 months as part of the EASTENDERS writing team and the drama/documentary series MONSTERS WE MET for BBC 2. Paul teaches creative writing at Exeter University where he was previously Writer-in-Residence. While there he developed an interest in memoir writing, a genre he now teaches internationally.

Synopsis:
Buffy meets Beetlejuice in this spooky musical. Viv Lush and her daughter are shown around the only house they can afford in the area by slimey estate agent Kevin Kraven. But there are a few things wrong: the house is damp, old, has no central heating, and it is hell bent on the destruction of mankind. Will they escape the scream room? Will they ever find the front door again? Or will Mrs Bell Zabub and her ghouls get them? a teenage horrorfest to chill and thrill suitage for ages 10+
