Ryan Dowler is a playwright and alumnus of the 2012 OBIE Award-winning writer's group, Youngblood at Ensemble Studio Theatre, where his plays STIFF and The Gratifications received productions. His other plays include Spitz/her, Something Like Loneliness, and Beautiful Girls. Prior to earning his master's degree in Playwriting from Ohio University - his play, Mammals, was named the best short play in America by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. It received a reading at the Kennedy Center, before touring the U.S. and the UK that year. His work has been seen at theaters across the country including Seattle Repertory Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Hunger Artists Theater, Hyde Park Theatre, DC Source, Cherry Lane Theater, Main Street Stage, and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C
