Jess Eisenberg was born in Morristown, NJ and spent most of school years in Lakeland, FL. She graduated from Harrison Arts Center in 2002 and obtained a double Bachelor's in Political Science and Theatre from the University of Central Florida in Orlando in 2006. Her creativity was fostered by excellent teachers like Alisa DeBorde, Pat Fleitz, and LeeAnn Haley. After moving to Chicago, she met Margo Gray and Prologue Theatre Company was born. Eisenberg is passionate about teaching and advocacy, which led her to create 365 Women a Year: A Playwriting Project with Gina Scanlon. Her pieces have been produced around the country. She continues to fight for gender parity and on behalf of forgotten voices in herstory.
