Aeroplane Bones

Synopsis:
Kevin, detesting and resenting his old life, simply walked across the country until he found a new one - in a decommissioned war bomber. He now wants for nothing - if he's hungry he kills a rabbit, if he's cold he forages for firewood. Simple. Uncomplicated. Just on the wrong side of desolate. His estranged, dot com millionaire brother Scott on the other hand also wants for nothing in his dog-eat-dog world of e-commerce, sky-high mortgages, and white collar stress. Loaded. Fast. Just on the wrong side of morally bankrupt. With the friendship and protection of ex-Hell's Angel, Rothko and his pot bellied pig, Kevin has finally found his place in life. But then his uncomplicated world is in danger of shattering as Scott assaults his home with devastating news. Aeroplane Bones is more than a story of two brothers an their darkly complicated past, it is a startlingly original and gripping new portrait of the MTV generation.

With their guide embarking on his own private journey into oblivion, his charges fasten their ponchos and prepare to grope the underbelly of a city without rules. But the harder they to lose themselves, the closer they come to the reality they left behind. Summer In the City

Synopsis:
Edward Hopper was greatly influenced by the theatre: one of his most famous paintings, Early Sunday Morning, was actually derived from a Broadway set by Jo Mielziner. In this hour-long play, Toby Farrow attempts to return the compliment by dramatising the events that lie contained within Hopper's celebrated 1949 canvas, Summer in the City. It seems an ingenious idea but the result locks the painting into a specific meaning and undercuts its mythic, open-ended suggestiveness. - Michael Billington, Guardian
