Colin studied Drama at the University of Northumbria, and also has a Post Grad Diploma in Community Education. He was a founder and Artistic Director of WAC Theatre (The Writers and Actors Collaboration Theatre Company) in Aberdeen until the company folded in 2011. Rehearsal videos of some of his plays can be found on YouTube (The Body in the Bag, Towards the Inevitability of Catastrophe, No Phones on Planet Pluto etc). Although theatre and writing stage plays took up quite a few years of his life, Colin has also written 3 novels for children (all available as eBooks from Smashwords) and several short stories, some of which have appeared in literary mags (Flash Fiction Magazine, Flash Flood, Word Bohemia, Every Day Fiction, The Grind, A3 Review, 1,000 Words, Inkapture, Scribble Magazine&). He currently live in a humble cottage in North East Scotland where he write novels, plays, stories, poems and the occasional song.

Body In the Bag, The

Synopsis:
Darkly comic tale of death, drinking and deceit - with songs! Edinburgh, 1827. In their shabby lodging house, William Hare encourages his drinking partner William Burke to think about the future, about an easier way of making a living. When one of Hare's lodgers dies, the scheming duo plan to take the body to the medical school where corrupt surgeon Dr Knox exchanges cash for cadavers. . .

Synopsis:
It sounds like her - has her memories, her laughter and her pain. But it isn't her. Or is it?
