Gazebo has been in existence for 34 years, providing a range of professional theatre productions, theatre in education programmes and community arts projects. Our work explores a wide range of issues and subject areas, whilst maintaining the highest level of artistic standards, through our team of experienced artists, which includes professional actors, dancers, musicians, film makers, visual artists and facilitators. Gazebo produces a programme of shows and projects throughout the year, and is also able to respond to commissions and cater for individual requirements.

Synopsis:
Rivers to Cross takes audiences on a 174-year rollercoaster of a multi-media journey through imperialism, segregation, the Civil Rights movement, the Windrush era and the Black Consciousness movement, telling the true stories of great accomplishments in the face of adversity. the play features a host of greats including Ira Aldridge, Walter Tull, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Dr Harold Moody, Paul Robeson and President Barack Obama, in an examination of the black male experience since emancipation.
