Synopsis:
Satan's Whore follows the life of Victoria Woodhull as she journeys from sexually abused child, to the most infamous, celebrated, intellectual beauty of 19th Century New York City. Feminist suffragette and renowned spiritualist, Woodhull was the first female presidential candidate, with FredErick Douglass as her running mate. She was also the first female newspaper publisher and Wall Street broker, but was best known as a fearless free-love advocate and practitioner. Woodhull was a woman so far ahead of her time, that time has yet to catch up.
