Geisha, The
the Teahouse Of the Ten Thousand Joys - owner Wun-hi is overjoyed when the British navy docks and the sailors head for his establishment. among the sailors is Lieutenant Reggie Fairfax who had been before and been smitten by the charms of the head geisha Mimosa. the other girls entertain the sailors and Reggie teaches Mimosa to kiss. a minor lordling arrives he has gotten permission from the emperor to marry Mimosa and he has come for her. then a party of english women arrive. their leader Lady Constance Wynneis shocked to see Reggie and Mimosa. Lady Constance reminds him that he is engaged to Molly Seamore - but Reggie is enjoying being with Mimosa. and who should turn up next but Molly. Lady Constance tells her what has been happening. Upset Molly talks to Mimosa not knowing that Mimosa is the one that Reggie is interested in. Mimosa suggests that Molly disguise herself as a geisha and try and win Reggie back that way
