Half

Synopsis:
a play about two strangers, a French man and an American woman, whose moral, cultural, and philosophical differences make for a provocative encounter on the streets of New York. Gradually shifting from internal monologue to external dialogue, the play's structure depicts how thought and spoken word gradually merge as guardedness fades and connection begins.

Spitting Distance

Synopsis:
an ensemble piece that explores how the legacy of a mother's abuse is brought to a head by her impending death. Set in London, it takes place in Battersea and Chelsea, wherein the timid protagonist walks us through his daily pilgrimage to the hospital; a tragically uneventful routine that brings him into the proximity of other tormented souls.

Notes:
Finalist in the 2005 Samuel French Festival. Also part of the Looking Glass theatre's Spring 2007 Writers/Directors Forum, A festival of workshop productions showcasing new writers And directors. This piece was initially developed At the Bridewell theatre in London.
