Chris is a performer, writer, director, devisor, puppeteer and lighting designer. Writing credits include FAG/STAG (Co-writer and performer for The Last Great Hunt 2015) and Flood (for Black Swan State Theatre Company 2014). As co-deviser/performer: Falling Through Clouds (for The Last Great Hunt 2014/15) and It's Dark Outside (Perth Theatre Company 2012-2015). Awards include PAWA Best New Play (Script) for Flood and It's Dark Outside - Helpmann Award 2013 nomination for Best Visual/Physical Theatre. Chris is a founding member and core artist of independent company The Last Great Hunt, and between 2010 and 2013 he was a member of Black Swan State Theatre Company's Emerging Writer's program. He is also a member of the creative team behind the multi award winning The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer and toured extensively with the production between 2010 and 2014. In 2012 he was a member of Griffin Theatre Company's inaugural StoryLab group, and was a recipient of the inaugural JUMP mentoring program (2010) under mentor Kate Mulvany. Chris' debut play The Forlorn (Weeping Spoon Productions 2006) received positive reviews and began his work in the arts. Chris has a double major in English and Writing from Edith Cowan University, completed in 2006.

It's Dark Outside

Synopsis:
It's Dark Outside by Tim Watts, Arielle Gray and Chris Isaacs. the team behind the multi award-winning the Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer has created another heartfelt adventure. Using puppetry, mask, animation and live performance, they deliver a grand epic western. As the sun sets, an old man and his noble tent go wandering into the wild. Swept up in a surreal world, he is on the run. Meanwhile a mysterious tracker has caught his scent. But while he can try and run away from the life he once knew, he can't hide from everything.
