Channel Surfing Ii: Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Turn Off Your Tv

this is a two-act comedy revue and cyberspace adventure. The 14 comic sketches poke fun of psychic hotlines, homework hotlines, voice mail, siblings, soccer moms, home computers, home pages and home shopping. There's also a "Middle School Jeopardy" lampooning stereotypical "clueless girls". Two very popular sketches in this collection are "OCPOCK" where parents attend a 12-step program for over committed parents with over committee kids . . . and "Extreme Sports" which lampoons sports commentators' endless chatter as alex and Dave report on cordless bungee jumping, ski jump bobsledding and other extreme events. The skits can be mixed, matched or used individually. Cast: 14W, 9M or up to 60 players, 2 to 18 per skit. Middle Grades to High School.

Eyes On The Media

Synopsis:
this collection of 16sketches is topped of with a Dickens parody, "a Dickens of a Programming Plan" in which the head of a TV network is confronted with possible Scrooge-like transformation as Marley's ghost (Bob Marley, that is) shows him he scenes from his past, present and future. additional sketches include "the Fashion Gap," "Parent Makeovers," Game shows "Let's Get Greedy" & "Who Wants To Be Educated," a look at the advertising game, "Touched By an angle" - in which ad execs pitch ad ideas to the grim reaper and more. Very sharp satire, this collection of sketches - I was in a very cynical mood that year.
