Dave Johnson is a graduate of the University of the Arts and has been a Philadelphia-based actor for the last six years. Previous Philly fringe hits include 2009's the Jersey Devil, and 2008's the GiANT Squid. Mr. Johnson was last seen playing a cybernetic troublemaker with a spinning heart in the Berserker's annihilation Point, an out of this world hora-trage-comedy. This remounting of the show -- seen at the abrons Arts Center in New York City -- garnered stellar reviews in the New York Times and the Village Voice, among other papers. even his shiny silver shorts got a mention. He is currently playing Puck in a Midsummer Night's Dream at the Lantern Theater (Philadelphia). Work with other local Philadelphia Theaters include Mum PuppetTheater, enchantment Theatre Co., CCTC, Theatre Horizon, and Theatre exile. Love to G.

Synopsis:
Ottis, a strapping young man in a small Southern town, is creating a Gospel Poetry Opera. He is dying to go away and produce the work in New York but has no money and few prospects-until he decides to hustle Gladys, a local preacher's wife. at first, Gladys appears an easy mark for cash, but she has artistic aspirations of her own, and her demands on Ottis soon multiply. What Gladys doesn't know, however, is that Ottis is also hustling her husband, Henry, a preacher. the hustles deepen, complications ensue, and events take a completely unexpected turn. Ottis, Gladys, and Henry learn the hard way, that sometimes, deception gets you exactly what you want.

Synopsis:
the model citizens of tiny, isolated Lapsburgh have prepared an exemplary theatrical entertainment to help their American guests to pass the time while their international flight refuels. More than just an ordinary layover, the performers seek to beguile and delight the new arrivals with Lapsburgh's many charms, but darker forces lurk just beyond the borders. Very Merry Xmas Carol Holiday Adventure Show, The

Synopsis:
a narrator's retelling of Christmas tales quickly unravels into an action-packed adventure when the Xmas, a malicious force of holiday ruination, sweeps in to destroy all things red and green. Classic holiday characters are the only hope to stop it: reluctant ebenezer Scrooge, intrepid Frosty the Snowman, and timid Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer among them. This dream team embarks on a journey to restore the Spirit of Christmas to the mysterious Ice Palace -- but can they do it before the Xmas demolishes every last candy cane, sugarplum, and shred of Christmas cheer?
