Miss Roach's War

Synopsis:
a charming adaptation of Patrick Hamilton's story set in 1943 of the elderly people who spend their days in the Rosamund Tea Rooms. Bickering and gossiping leads to minor wars and enid Roach makes two unfortunate friendships - one with Pike, an American lieutenant, the other with Vicki Kugelmann, a German who steals Pike from enid and then humiliates her former friend.
