Want & Need

Synopsis:
Sexy, funny, intriguing and enticing, Want & Need is a modern day romantic comedy told through the bad boy eyes of lead character John. John is a charismatic guy who can effortlessly get any woman he wants but he doesn't quite know how to keep the woman that he needs. Can John soften his rough wise guy ways to find the love of his life? Every character brings a unique ingredient to the delectable Want & Need recipe of theatric genius! John's closest friends appear to be a happily married couple who only want happiness for their audacious and single friend. The women of the play are inexplicably drawn to John by his natural charm and then suddenly pushed away by him. Why? Is there a reason why they are not the right women or is John making excuses? Italian born director and actress Maria Riboli teams up with the acclaimed Serbian-born director Sanja Bestic to bring this urban love story to the stage. Both of these experienced immigrant women are passionately bringing a story of love, friendship and trust to life in New York City; the city of dreams, art, determination and theater! The cast is an engaging group of New York actors who fully embody every character, creating a complimentary group of friends and lovers in Want & Need that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats with laughter, lust, love and compassion. A New York City love story told through the creative eyes of American, Italian and Serbian actors and directors will engage people from any and every ethnicity and walk of life!
