Synopsis: | Louis Braille fifteen and blind is in an institute for the blind. Gabriel a fellow pupil bullies him. M Dufau the principal believes that until a cure is found for blindness the boys are better off doing basket weaving. Louis longs to be able to read literature. He invents an alphabet for the blind. M Dufau is helping a mad scientist to find a cure for blindness which involves kidnapping waifs off the street - they usually do not survive the experiments performed on them | |||||
