In New York City, Patricia H. Lin (P.H. Lin) has had work produced and/or presented by Women's Project & Productions, the Lark Play Development Center, Pulse ensemble Theatre, Nomad Theater Company, and Diverse City Theater Co. In the US, her work has been produced and/or presented by Theaters or Festivals in DC, MD, Va, MI, IL, NC, OH, Pa, KY and CA. Internationally, her work has been seen in Greece. Pat has won the Dayton (Ohio) Playhouse's National Playwriting Competition. She is a recipient of George Mason University's Mary Roberts Rinehart award. She holds an MFA in Theater Arts from the Catholic University of America, and is a Woodrow Wilson Fellow.

Synopsis:
Three women (one Filipina, one Jewish, one left -wing activist) are on a subway on their way to a "briss." During the course of the ride, (and as a subway car full of male riders eavesdrop,) the merits, demerits, and history of circumcision are hotly debated.

One Of the Few

Synopsis:
a Polish Catholic housewife, against her will, is forced to shelter an escapee from the Warsaw Ghetto. as the two struggle to come to terms with themselves, and their prejudices, they journey toward mutual trust and respect. although framed within the era of the Holocaust, the focus of this play is on the women, and on exploring issues similar to many faced today. This is not a Holocaust story, but one of survival. . . or not.

Synopsis:
a balding male hair model (Man) encounters G-d (Gee) in his shower. Gee, who embodies the spirit of Louis armstrong, sports dread-locks, a Malcom X baseball cap, and a towel. Through their encounter, Man comes to terms with his "affliction."

Sweet Ginger: Hot & Blue

Synopsis:
Sweet Ginger: Hot & Blue is a coming of age story, but from an Asian point of view. Ginger Chan wants to be an artist. Her immigrant Father insists she become a doctor. Can the family survive, or will the combustible relationship between daughter and Father destroy it? Complicating things are a 95 year-old Jewish woman, a female Buddha, and the spirit-apparitions of Ginger's mother and brother.

as this play is An Asian coming of Age story, the Actors playing the members of the Chan family should be Asian.

Zelda At the Oasis

Zelda At the Oasis
Zelda At the Oasis is about Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, wife of the noted American novelist, F. Scott Fitzgerald. It concerns Zelda's struggle to realize herself as a recognized artist in her own right. a thirty five year old Zelda must decide whether to sign herself back into a sanitarium (the one place where she is free to develop her artistic potential), or to resign herself to her failed marriage with Scott. Memories are triggered as Zelda transforms a Bartender into all the people (male as well as female) who have played a part in shaping her self-image, and insights are gained. Both Zelda and the Barman come to understand their lives in new ways.

Zen Of Yo, The

Synopsis:
Gertrude stops by amy's (Gertrude's daughter's) home to drop off a gift for Katelin (Gertrude's granddaughter/ amy's daughter.) the gift is a yo-yo: "Something to keep her life on track. Reliable, yet small enough to fit in the palm of her hand." During the resulting interaction between Gertrude and amy, life lessons are learned, and relationships are re-examined.

Notes:
No real properties should be used in this piece. the handling of Any prop called for in the script (such As the gift box, the t.v. remote, the wine glass, And especially the yo-yo) should be mimed. In this manner, the Audience is free to let their imagination be dazzled by the brilliance of GeRTRUDe's Artistic display.
