Stinkfoot

Stinkfoot

Synopsis:
Soliquisto and his Not So Dumb Friends appear nightly in end of a career End-of-the-Pier Music Hall, while below the pier there exists another world, just as vital and just as bizarre. Below, on the rubbishy hard-pebbled shore of England's cold and oily sea lives Mrs. BagBag, a fishy bag lady whose creatures of the deep are every bit as wonderful and as necessary to her as Soliquisto's are to him. Somehow or other, these two stories become one. . . but really, Stinkfoot is a series of colorful and tuneful vignettes to showcase Vivian Stanshall's songs. There is a story under it all (somewhere) but whether one catches the story or misses it entirely, the whole magical show is a door into Vivian's extraordinary and labyrinthine mind, an invitation to spend an evening in the private rooms of a complex artist.
