Lila moves between the real world and the game worlds as she struggles to come to grips with this and other changes in her life. Faced with choices, she doesn't always make the right one. Loss, The

Synopsis:
Eight-year-old Alice McDonald has gone missing. Who is she? Where is she? And why has she been taken? Alice's disappearance raises more questions than answers. For the general public, the case becomes a cause celebre as it drags in its wake ancient fears and new dangers. For two women who, in different ways, both know Alice, her vanishing raises more personal questions. The Loss is a haunting meditation on the meaning of children, intimacy and loss for contemporary middle Australia. (Variable cast numbers)

Shoe Biz

Synopsis:
A woman is standing in a shoe shop... and has an epiphany of sorts. She finds herself wandering through her psyche as she grapples with the unresolved tensions of her sexual identity. Love, lust and the desire for security vie for dominance and the protagonist, known only as the Woman, must make her choice. Shoe Biz is a short work that depicts familiar situations in unfamiliar ways. It is expressionistic rather than realistic, and employs movement, light and sound as well as the spoken word.
