High Spirits

High Spirits
A musical based on Noel Coward's comedy Blithe Spirit. The play begins at a dinner party given by Charles and Ruth Condomine, a sceptical couple who, to entertain some guests, invite a medium to their home to work the Ouija board. Madame Arcati successfully calls Edith, Charles' dead wife, from the spirit world, only to find herself unable to send Edith back. The ensuing debacle is at times hilarious and at times heart wrenchingly sad, as Charles falls in love all over again with his selfish first wife and Ruth adapts to living with a ghost.
