Kara Ayn's produced plays include Leah in Vegas (FringeNYC-Drift In, Act Out), Prohibition Blues (musical, Blue Box World), Blue (Primary Stages/ESPA Detention Series), Life Recital (musical, DIAO), No Baby In Me (musical, Primary Stages/ESPA Detention Series) and Plane Play (DIAO). She is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Drift In, Act Out Theatre company, based in NYC. Through them she has produced two festivals of 9 new plays and musicals. For the past three years, Kara has been directing and developing plays and musicals with Writopia Lab, a school for writers age 6 to 18. She is currently the Managing Artistic Director of their ongoing festival, the Worldwide Plays Festival. In New York, she has directed and assistant directed for companies such as Writopia Lab, Working Man's Clothes (NYIT award winners), Blue Box World, and Curious Frog. Kara is also a professional Speech Level Singing and TriYoga teacher.

Leah In Vegas

Synopsis:
