Goodbye To All That

Goodbye To All That
I want you to remember something, David: if you remember only one thing I've ever told you, remember this every day morning, noon and night you do what you want with your life. Exactly what you want. Break heads if you need to and hearts if you have to, but whatever you do don't do what I did. Don't waste yourself.' Frank has been married for forty years. Three years ago he fell in love. This taut and tender new play asks if it's ever too late to start again?

Hearts

Hearts
Sacred Heart FC's days are numbered, but they're not going down without a fight. Despite the dead mice in the toilet and the left-back in the bin, Harry spends the season trying to keep everyone together for one more year. But when the boys are more interested in scoring' than winning, and the girls are playing games of their own, what chance have they got? A knockabout comedy about romance and the beautiful game.

Notes:
Each year the National Theatre invites ten writers to create new plays for young people to perform. This spring 230 youth theatre companies will present the premieres of these plays in Venues from Scotland to Cornwall and Northern Ireland to Norfolk. Each company will also perform at one of 26 Connections festivals in professional theatres across the country, and ten companies will go on to perform at the National Theatre. Connections celebrates great new writing for the stage and the energy, commitment and talent of young theatre-makers.

So Here We Are
You was always good at secrets. Both of yer. Frankie's dead. And no-one's quite sure why. The lads won't talk about it. But the five-a-side is still booked for Monday night.
