Synopsis:
Based on the true story of a woman who spent her childhood in the Third Reich's inner circle and the rest of her life fighting to break free. Henriette von Schirach was the only friend of Hitler's to denounce him to his face. Nevertheless imprisoned for party association after the war, she is deemed innocent of war crimes and is scheduled for release. The Wake of the Wolf takes place on the eve of her release, in her cell, as she confronts the ambiguities of her involvement in the party, her private fantasies, and the scope of her responsibility.
