Sarah Quick is a Writer : Director : Actor. Trained at the University of Wales, Sarah obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Drama along with certificates in acting from the London College of Music and the Guildhall. Sarah's acting credits include; 'Family Affairs' at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Centre; 'Our Daily Bread' UK tour; 'sex and Death' at the Edinburgh Fringe; 'Translations' UK tour and 'Her Big Chance' Irish Tour. She played the part of Fionuula Crust in the world premier of John B. Keane's 'Letters of a Matchmaker' in his home town of Listowel, Ireland. In 1999 she formed Quick Change Theatre and toured throughout Canada, Ireland, England, the U.S. and Australia with her self-penned works 'Thanks for the Mammaries', 'sex and Sensibility', 'the Men Commandments', 'Do You Take This Man?' and 'B4 & After'. Within Canada she toured to Montral, Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Victoria, Vancouver & Cowichan. She has performed at the Factory Theatre in Toronto, the Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnipeg and the Waterfront Theatre in Vancouver. 'Do You Take This Man?' was CBC's Pick of the Edmonton Fringe in 2002 and received an 'outstanding Drama' award at the Melbourne International Fringe the same year. Artistic Director of Globus Theatre @ the LAB Sarah has also performed with the company in; 'Blithe Spirit', 'Do You Take This Man?', 'Fanny Hill', 'Home To Roost', 'April in Paris', 'B4 & After', 'soccer Moms', 'the Motor Trade' 'Educating Rita', 'Talking Heads', ' It Had To Be You', 'Glorious', 'Nobody's Perfect', 'the 39 Steps' and 'Knickers! A brief comedy', which she also wrote along with 'Having Relations ' and 'sunshine Express' She has directed 'the Foursome', 'Here on the Flight Path' ,'marion Bridge', 'the Motor Trade' , 'Art', 'storm Warning', 'I Ought To Be In Pictures', 'Having Relations', Nobody's Perfect', Six Dance lessons In Six Weeks, and 'sunshine Express'.

Synopsis:
B4 and After explores the wonderful world of relationships, love and Bingo! Set in a small town in the north of England it is the story of friends who discuss escaping their dreary seaside town and dead-end jobs whilst keeping the balls spinning at their local bingo hall. the Bingo parlour becomes a metaphor for their broken dreams as the ladies try to discover if there's more to life than waiting for your balls to drop. A laughter-packed, raunchy, rollercoaster of a ride - this is Bridget Jones meets Coronation Street. . .Oh and the audience gets to play Bingo as well!
