Born in Richmond, VA on April 10, 1934; married (Eileen Mary), 6 children; educated at California State College, Bakersfield, B.A., English Literature; graduate studies in literary criticism and children's literature; taught journalism and creative writing, Bakersfield College (1970-75); currently book reviewer for the Bakersfield California and free lance writer; former columnist and critic for the Bakersfield News-Bulletin and editor of literary quarterly Pantry (1964-65); short stories and articles have appeared in such magazines as the Horn Book, Swank, Chic, Short Story International, Cavalier, Nugget, Rogue, Catholic Home, Editor and Publisher and others; one poetry volume, Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Tunes?; author of seventeen paperback novels under various names; served as national judge for Kern County Drama Festival; served as battalion sergeant major, 8th F.A. Bn. U.S. Army, Korea and Hawaii, won American Spirit Honor Medal. Recipient: First Prize, Class International Intercollegiate Creative Writing Contest, 1969-70; International thespian Society Competition Award; various awards from the New York Poetry Forum.

Tribal Rites

Synopsis:
an explicit, adult Drama, rooted in myth, occurring in Frank's Franks, a decrepit restaurant in Skyway, an amusement park by the sea. the chief female is the goddess, Rhea; Andre is an Oscar Wilde type wag, the keeper of the gate; elements of Beckett come to mind. It is a contemporary Greek Drama of sacrifice and rebirth.
