Billy Roberts was born in Liverpool and played lead guitar in a rock band, touring Europe with some of the biggest names in music: Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, The Moody Blues, The Yardbirds and Small Faces. He has also been a professional stage and television psychic/medium. In 2004, Billy wrote The History of Rock and Roll, which toured the northern theatre circuit, tie has adapted his children's book. The Magic Locker, into a musical, which opened at the Liverpool Empire in 2006. He has written several other plays, all of which have a psychological or mysterious theme
