Welcome

Synopsis:
Astrid invites new neighbours Chloe and Daniel over for a drink on a Friday night. The evening is heightened by two recollections from the past. While Daniel and Astrid are having a cigarette on the verandah, Daniel recalls seeing Astrid hitting it with a man other than her husband. The memory embarrasses them both. Meanwhile, on the lounge, Brett (Astrid's husband) recalls an older memory of Chloe as a prostitute. Chloe has no recollection of Brett. The play explores the themes of honesty, the past, philosophy and life's goals in a lively and provocative manner.
