Synopsis:
A young innocent boy raised by wolves (actually big brothers) grows up and shares stories about his Bewildered, Maladjusted, Disconnected, Misguided, Racially Unbalanced youth in Growing Up Gonzales: love, lies and my first hooker. After generations of secrecy, the truth about "Machismo" is finally revealed, the secret "Ritual Beatdown" at Latino Funerals is finally exposed, and borderline psychotic childhood lessons are finally dissected. Non-Latinos will be shocked, Semi-Latinos will be inspired, Authentic Latinos will be pissed. Growing Up Gonzales: love, lies and my first hooker is the Stand Up Comedy Story that asks the question, what the hell happened to you? A Puerto Rican, Nuyorican, who thinks he's Jamaican, who spends most of his time in The Dominican Republic, smoking Cubans, drinking Margaritas and listening to Lady Gaga takes the stage and crafts a masterful web of truths disguised by lies disguised by truths.
