        Melancomedy

Melancomedy

Synopsis:
With a perfect blending of subtle tones of melancholy and everyday comedy, Andy Ross has woven the stories of 15 characters together to create Melancomedy, a one-man show that zooms in from the big picture into the small details that can make a person or event heartbreaking or hilarious. From Cathy, the empty-nester going back to school, to the news anchor sent on assignment to the local zoo for an uncooperative, talking walrus, the struggles each character finds themselves in brings out the comedy found in everyday truths, and sometimes the heartbreak. Through perfectly structured arcs, Ross pulls the audience into the characters' emotional, true-to-life realities
