FERAL FOXY LADIES are emerging feminist performance duo - CLAIRE STONE (writer, director) and KATHERINE VINCE (performer). As a devising company, Claire brings food (for thought) to the table, and Katherine gives it stomach and legs. Embarrassingly honest with each other and their audience, their work is sexy, with an edge of disgust; chaos, with an OCD streak; hilarious, with a twinge of 'Oh shit, I do that too.' Claire and Katherine met studying MA Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, 2012-2013. The company formed to develop I GOT DRESSED IN FRONT OF MY NEPHEW TODAY, which was commissioned for its first scratch by Camden People's Theatre's CALM DOWN, DEAR festival of feminist theatre, September 2014. They set out to make a show investigating the disparity, instilled from infancy, between the body image of girls & boys. They collaborate with filmmakers CHLOË PLUMB & LARISSA ALVES from KALEIDO FILM COLLECTIVE to create original video content for their performances. I GOT DRESSED IN FRONT OF MY NEPHEW TODAY was developed with the support of HARTS LANE STUDIOS, CANAVAN'S PECKHAM POOL HALL, CAMDEN PEOPLE'S THEATRE, ZOO VENUES, O2 THINK BIG, STRAY CREATIVES, and a host of collaborators, wonderful supporters, friends and family.
