Amanda Stuart-Fisher is an academic and writer with a strong interest in new writing and verbatim and testimonial performance practices. She graduated Middlesex University, and has taught dance and drama in secondary schools, worked as an applied theatre practitioner and as the education coordinator at the Royal Court Theatre. She is currently a reader in contemporary theatre and performance at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. 2013 saw the premiere of From the Mouths of Mothers, a verbatim theatre play which tells the stories of seven mothers whose children were sexually abused, at Pleasance Theatre, London.
