Daniel was born and raised in Lincolnshire, England. He began writing at the age of fourteen, and his career has seen three development workshops by Young@Heart Theatre of LITTLE RED, with additional music by George Suddaby. As well as a 2014 theatre in education tour of FEATHERED, the World War 1 production that he co-wrote. In October 2015, Daniel made his publishing debut with TRANSFUSION, a one act play exploring love, family and the laws of gay blood donation, now available for physical purchase and performance licensing through Lazy Bee Scripts. He is currently working on a new musical, Beaten Paths, due to be first performed in 2016.

Little Red

Synopsis:
It's Christmas and for one young teenage girl, receiving a cheap, stained, charity shop coat is the final straw. She prepares to run away. When she takes a step out into the forest her life will change forever. Along the way to stay with her cool, hip, yoga obsessed Grandmother, she'll meet a gangster wolf and a handsome Huntsman - ooh la la. Join Little Red as she explores rebellion and the importance of family. Do her family really love her? Why can't she have a normal name? And what on earth is a 'crib'?

Transfusion

Synopsis:
Terminally ill Carol is being cared for at home by her trainee-nurse son, Ben. Their very close relationship stands up to the stresses and strains involved and they are also able to help Ben's boyfriend Max deal with his homophobic parents. Ultimately Ben has to take drastic steps to give Carol an optimistic future.
