A poignant one-woman play by celebrated Quebec dramatist Jennifer Tremblay, writer of The List, a Fringe sell-out for Stellar Quines, winner of Fringe First and Herald Angel Awards. Wedding Day at the Cro-Magnons'

Wedding Day at the Cro-Magnons'
A Lebanese family are preparing for their daughter's wedding. there are problems, however; the bride-to-be is narcoleptic; her elder brother is missing, presumed dead; her Father has had to bring the wedding feast's main course home alive; the bridegroom is conspicuously absent; and a storm has swept in. Adding to the constant threat of sniper fire, a bombing raid has begun. Lebanese playwright Wajdi Mouawad has tried to construct an 'anarchic comedy set in a war zone', presumably to reflect the farcical humour to be found in the horror of conflict.
