Meet Me In The Woods
Meet Me In The Woods
When the charming young Charlie Broughton is found dead in an unassuming English suburb, a game of Dramatic Cluedo ensues. The place, naturally, was the woods, the weapon a rock, but the murderer remains a mystery. Was it the almost comical caricature of a poisonous mother, Julia, who manipulates her family like a demented, cackling Bond baddie? Was it her long-suffering daughter Cathy, who found Charlie's body but was too traumatised to remember what happened that fateful day? Or else her best friend Charmian, who came to the Broughtons to escape her agoraphobic mother and stayed because Charlie said he loved her.
Lucy Powell, Time Out London

We are delighted to receive information from users where our own research has been unable to locate details on the holder of a play's rights.doollee.com contains a comprehensive listing for each new play written in English produced by professional theatre companies, venues, festivals, commercial producers and once-off-producers from 1956 to the present. It includes adaptations, translations and new versions.
