Pat And Margaret

Synopsis:
Pat is the biggest thing on American television. She has three houses, a pool and an open-top Mercedes. Margaret is a waitress in a motorway cafeteria. She lives in a bedsit over a shop. Pat and Margaret are sisters. They are reunited after 27 years, on the popular live TV show Magic Moments. Pat, who has shoved her past firmly to the back of the wardrobe, is horrified by the reappearance of this lumpy relative. But, in the glare of the Press's interest, she has no choice but to play along. Margaret, swept along initially in a whirlwind of camera flashes and champagne, struggles to make a connection between the star of Glamor and the Pat Mottershead she shared a life with all those years ago

Notes:
TV Play By Victona Wood. Originally a television production, starring Julie Walters and Victoria Wood, Pat and Margaret is the hilarious saga of sibling affection and disaffection.
