Synopsis:
Chatterton Country Club, a 55+ retirement community, is the setting for these three 15-minute comedies. the intertwining stories explore the crazy cast of characters and themes that make senior communal living so&Entertaining!The plays can be performed individually or together. If performed together, they should be done sequentially, as each piece builds upon characters and references from the previous. Its Your Move - Bob and Joe, friends and next-door neighbors for 23 years, share more than a game of checkers. Its all guy talk until Bob reveals a secret about Joes wife. Friends Like You - At their weekly stretch-ercize class, Margaret and Arlene show us what happens when adults play post office in a close-knit community. If You Cant Beat Em - Kicked out of her book club, Judy Crayton has decided to form her own group called Civilian Rules Administration Police (C.R.A.P.) because she is tired of people who get away with breaking the association covenants. She has invited three of her misfit neighbors to join her in an anonymous letter writing campaign to bust the scofflaws. their boozy potluck luncheon is filled with twists, turns, and revelations, ultimately changing the course of their mission. Chatterton has received both audience and critical acclaim. Its a sure-fire hit for you!
