Cardboard Cavaliers, The

Synopsis:
Lil, Will and Bill are street people living in three cardboard boxes underneath a railway arch. Bill, their son and not the brightest of youths, informs the family that he has arranged for them all to be interviewed by Corrine, a well-known television presenter of human stories. Lil and Wills eagerness to impress is confounded by Bill's ineptitude. The day does not end happily but there is a great deal of humour along the way.

Hazel's Nuts

Synopsis:
The mini-bus outing for the elderly inmates of a nursing home goes horribly wrong when they run out of petrol. unexpectedly they find themselves stranded in a forest. Nurse Hazel and the mini-bus driver, decide they should spend the night in an old barn. Unfortunately the barn turned out to be the hiding place where a couple of young thugs stash their ill-gotten loot. The fun starts when the two lads show up and catch the old people in the middle of a game of 'hunt-the-thimble.' The trouble is , they find more than a thimble!

Heaven to Betsy

Synopsis:
The Rev. Betsy Barker is expecting, what she believes to be a routine visit by the Bishop of Langley and his chaplain, Canon Chombola. The visit turns out to be anything but routine, anymore than does the reception she has planned for them. Betsy is beset by one problem after another: first by the arrival of an hysterical pregnant woman who gives birth on the spot, followed by a town planning officer who has a choking fit, collapses and his body is disposed of to save embarrassment. However, the real complication starts when the husband of the no longer pregnant woman, shows up and accuses Canon Chombola of being the baby's father because the child is born black and the Canon happens to be the only black man present

How to Relax in Andalucia

Synopsis:
John Waterhouse's How to Relax in Andalucia tells how Peter, recently made redundant and also divorced, is determined to make use of his new-found freedom by spending some time alone in Spain. Everything is going well until three backpackers arrive: Carol, the ex-girlfriend of an English gangster; Saskia, an annoyingly friendly Dutch woman; and Mick, a loud-talking, hard-drinking Australian. When a curious detective from England also pitches up, Peter goes on a quest to find solitude and relaxation.

Pillar To Post

Synopsis:
Telegraph boy Ernie is entertaining Sonya when he hears voices - fearing his mother will discover him with a floozies he hides with her. He overhears the lodger and a friend talking about the spate of Post Office robberies that have been occurring in the district. Ernie thinks that they must be the thieves. He informs his father who is a postman and together with another postman they hide in the post office so that when the thieves break in they can catch them red handed. However the lodger and his friend turn out to be detectives investigating the robberies and the two postman have some explaining to do as to why they were in the post office after hours.
