Jenny Rachel Weiner is a playwright and actress based in New York City, and is currently the Tow Foundation Playwright-in-Residence at the Roundabout Theatre. Horse Girls

Horse Girls
Twelve-year-old Ashleigh rules the Lady Jean Ladies, South Florida's most exclusive horse club. Rumors that her family's stables are being sold and their horses killed for meat throws the Ladies into crisis in this dark comedy of middle school deception and lies.

Notes:
Horse Girls was developed at Fordham/Primary Stages and was workshopped in Ars Nova's ANTFest 2013. It had it's world premiere in association with Collaboraction in Chicago in August 2013, and is made it's West Coast Premiere at Annex Theatre in Seattle in November 2014.

Nina

Synopsis:
Meet Nina: shes from Florida, she grew up in the 90s, and she talks to her Mom six times a day. Shaken by the news that her best friend/back-up husband is marrying her polar opposite, Nina is catapulted back to the traumatic time of her Bat Mitzvah, when she first realized how scary it is to grow up. Stuck in a mid-twenties limbo, not quite on Broadway, yet not back in Florida married to a Jewish doctor, Nina wonders if she will ever find her own way. Who is Nina if shes not who she thought she would be?
