Eric Winick hails from Marblehead, Massachusetts, birthplace of the American Navy. Proprietor of Yarn AudioWorks, his radio documentaries have been broadcast in Anchorage, Austin, Birmingham, Champaign-Urbana, Chicago, Minneapolis, New England, Santa Monica, and Seattle. "How Are You Who You Are?" (co-produced with Jay Allison) appeared on Transom.org in June 2008; a 12-minute version (with additional production by Larry Massett) appeared on Hearing Voices and aired on NPR's "All Things Considered." "Blue Collar Babysitter" aired nationally on American Public Media's "The Story" in April 2011. In addition, "Seating Mr. Pacino," "The Bakers of Butter Lane," and his co-production (with Wayne Liebman) of "Meal Ticket" were Public Radio Exchange News Station Picks of the Month. Plays: Dermatology (Wordbridge Playwrights Lab, 2006); Rearviewmirror (Reverie Productions at 59E59 Theaters; ONeill Playwrights Conference 2005); others. Readings and workshops at/by Theater Masters (Aspen, Colorado), Manhattan Theatre Club (Peaking, part of first 6@6 Series), MCC Theatre, and Reverie Productions. A graduate of Middlebury College, Eric currently works as Director of Marketing at Playwrights Horizons and resides in Brooklyn with his wife and son.

Synopsis:
an erotically-charged meditation on Judaism, sex, rock 'n roll, and idol worship." Inspired by the Bacchae, the play is set at an outdoor rock festival, where three lonely souls embark on a search for spiritual fulfillment, finding solace in loud music, deviant sex, and films of the 1970s.
