Journalist and writer, my friends are my best CV. Born in Madrid. I'm the author of two novels (La novia de papá and La piel de Mica) and various short stories.Mica's Skin was the first of my novels to find its way into a play (and won an award at United Solo!). La novia de papá was adapted for TV and its going to be premiered for theaters in Spain in 2014. This year I will also publish a book for children and some... poetry (who said you could make a living out of publishing had never tried poetry).         Mica's Skin

Mica's Skin

Synopsis:
Childless, single and just fired two days after her mothers death, Mica faces the mirror with humor, wit and the ability to portray a generation caught off guard by the crisis while they were texting.

Notes:
written by Ana Asensio, Paloma Bravo and Jean Randich. This play was adapted from a Spanish novel (La piel de Mica). It turned out that a story about the personal and social crisis of a woman in Madrid was meaningful for all those thirty somethings across the Atlantic who have been there, done that (in work, sex and love) and have chosen the best weapons: good friends, a strong sense of humor and trying to make new mistakes instead of reliving the old ones.
