Six and a Tanner

Six and a Tanner

Synopsis:
A one-man play starring David Hayman. In a Glasgow funeral parlour, a middle-aged man relives the joys and tragedies of his 1950s childhood as he rages at the coffin of his dead father. Is it an act of revenge, or redemption? Or simply the moment when he is forced to confront his own mortality? Based on a true story by Rony Bridges, this is a powerful, moving and hilarious tribute to life in all its absurdity as Hayman delivers an acting masterclass. Proceeds from the show go towards supporting Davids charity Spirit Aid, www.spiritaid.org.uk.
