Feather In The Web, The

Synopsis:
Kimberly is a character like no other. Shes powerful, wicked, in controlbut she has no voice. So she sets out to find it, leaving a trail of car crashes and crying people in her wake. Then she meets Miles. And shell do anything he says. From engagement parties to team-building weekends to improv comedy, The Feather in the Web is an unpredictable take on infatuation and self-discovery. Skewering our obsession with couples and careers, it asks just how much were willing to give (and lose) for love.

Notes:
Nick Coyle (Hammerhead (Is Dead)) has written a playful, disturbing and yet surprisingly hopeful coming-of-age story. Its part picaresque, part fablea journey from silence to a full-throated ROAR. Directed by Ben Winspear, this Lysicrates Prize finalist is without a doubt the most inventive play youll see all year.

Glass Boat

Synopsis:
This is sketch comedy meets narrative theatre, meets musical comedy, meets FUN. Three actors fresh from acclaim at the New York Fringe present a brand new show which is absurd, unique and adventurous. If you had to describe it and put it in a box of things it was like, you'd be wrong because this show is like nothing you've ever seen and should be placed in its own box.

Uh Oh Tony

Synopsis:
The Future, Earth: An intergalactic gay wizard gets stranded on the side of a mountain where he casts spells and dances magic dances in an attempt to return to his home comet, OK? Nick Coyle is a comic genius. His aim, in his own words, is to make the gayest one-man show ever. Blue Wizard unites cheap spectacle, super camp theatre magic, song, puppetry, storytelling and highly original costume design - to tell the story of a gay alien who has to learn to live like an ordinary human being. . .Blue Wizard is a brilliant act of subversion dressed up to look like a queer bimbo in an electric blue suit.
