Ann Marie Di Mambro has written several stage plays including Tally's Blood, Brothers of Thunder and The Letterbox. She also wrote Ae Fond Kiss and co-created Westenders for Oran Mor. She has written for numerous TV series including Eastenders, Casualty, Inspector Lynley, Holby City and River City. She was recently appointed Professor by Glasgow Caledonian University where she teaches on the prestigious MA in Television Fiction Writing.

Brothers Of Thunder
a young man who is HIV positive takes refuge with a Catholic priest.the play explores the relationship between James, a Catholic priest and John, a young man to whom he gives shelter. John is dying from aids related illnesses. James is clinging to his vocation by his fingernails. John has rejected his religion and is in a very dark place. they could be the answer to each other's prayers - except John doesn't believe in anything any more and James has lost his ability to pray. But somehow they connct and all is well - until John's former lover Simon shows up.

Only the Lonely

Synopsis:
Diane, fiftyish, is down on her luck after yet another disastrous relationship. Her dad, Tony is there to pick up the pieces as he always does. But shes anything but grateful. Jim is Dianes age and hes quite happy living with his elderly mother, Sadie, and would wrap her in cotton wool if he could. But shes feeling smothered and would rather lead her own life. When Jim finds Tony wandering in the street he steps in to help. This chance encounter forces everyone not only to change their plans for the day but ultimately changes how they spend the rest of their lives.
